Bubbles of Love

"When the power of love is greater than the love of power, the world will know peace."

Is it just me, or is it starting to feel like there are two types of human beings on this earth. One that practices BEING with love. And one that is stuck BEING with fear?

Try as I might to not get into debates or lofty conversations with the second group, it happens. And it usually ends with the fear-base minded person saying something to me like “must be nice to live in your bubble of light and love while the rest of us live in the real world.”

Well, last I checked I live in a real world. And in my real world, I just choose to see the Divine in all. Or I try really really hard to. It’s not always easy, especially when someone is blasting me for my beliefs… (which is why I always say this love and light work I do is a practice. A daily practice. I practice and practice until I gain mastery.)

But while I work on mastering this big heart living stuff, I can’t help but feel, wouldn’t it be nice if I could bring more people to live in my bubble of light and love. I believe John Lennon would agree when he wrote “Imagine all the people living life in peace…”

The fact is all possibilities begin with a thought. It’s really that simple. We can imagine a world where we live peacefully with another, feed one another, and serve one another. Or we can imagine a world where greed, exploitation, and selfishness reign. The former sounds much more inviting.

As a yogi, I’ve learned to collect the tools that help me hold the vision of love and see the innocence in my brothers/sisters who share this Earth Home with me. No matter the gender, race, culture … no matter the story, circumstance, choices made, each person is simply reacting the best way they know how in any given situation. I realize some are living from a place of fear, and need forgiveness and the opportunity to live from a much more loving place. And I see others are light workers, trying to hold the bubble of light for all who wish to enter into a real loving world.

Let me tell you, holding that bubble of love isn’t always easy. There are times my arms get tired. There are times the bubble appears to be shrinking. There are even times I think I popped the bubble.

Luckily there is an incredible technology that I lean into that protects this very real bubble. It’s like bubble insurance.

The technology, known as mantra, helps to make your mind your ally (viewing life through the lens of love) instead of making your mind your enemy (fearful much?). One of my favorite (and very potent) ways to practice mantra is early in the morning with a group sharing in the Aquarian Age Sadhana.

The Aquarian Age Sadhana is a spiritual practice given by the great master of kundalini yoga, Yogi Bhajan. It is a practice to help us move through our challenges with grace. Within the Aquarian Age Sadhana are a series of mantras. Each mantra holds it’s own unique gift that when chanted begins to take a vibrational hold of you and lift you into the frequency of love, therefore strengthening the bubble and the real world of love in which we live.

(((Dare I now say it’s actually the fear based thinking that is not part of the real world? Fear is an illusion created by the ego-mind. However, I’ll save this topic for another writing :-) )))

No matter how weak or doubtful I may be feeling walking into my Aquarian Age Sadhana practice, I always leave feeling victorious, calm, focused, intuitive, and deeply supported. It’s that powerful. It’s that transformative. It allows me to keep holding my end of the bubble of love for all who wish to enter.

If you are interested in learning the Aquarian Age mantras and the potency they bring to your life, you can read about them here. If you would like to give them a test drive with a group of likeminded yogis, I’ll be leading The Aquarian Age Sadhana this Sunday (11/18) in Branford, CT. Check out this link to learn more.

ONE MORE THANG:

Wondering why it’s called the Aquarian Age Sadhana? Well, in this very special lifetime we are living, the earth has moved from the constellation of Pisces into Aquarius. This shift happens once every two thousand-ish years, so it’s kinda a big deal. We are all feeling this change here on planet earth. If you want to learn more about the Aquarian Age and how it impacts you, be sure to subscribe to my email list as I occasionally write and teach about this profound happening.
